Sometimes market trends and the weather go hand in hand: occasionally stormy and cloudy, but with clear signs of spring and summer popping up every now and then. And just like with the weather, the same applies to the market: make the best of the situation and take advantage of the sunny spells.
That’s exactly what Jakob Peters and Steffen Schaack did this week. At the ZIA Real Estate Industry Day and the INVESTMENTexpo, they discussed not only capital, returns, and market cycles, but above all the question of which usage concepts will prove resilient in Germany in the future and how investment cases can be derived from them.
One topic that resonated: small-scale business park structures as a growing sub-segment in the logistics and industrial real estate market. At the same time, these properties are well-suited for investors looking to further diversify their commercial real estate portfolios.
🗨️ The discussions in Berlin showed that such approaches are well-received in the market. International investors, in particular, are once again showing greater interest in German assets when location, use, and concept align.
