Peters Development GmbH is systematically expanding its nationwide acquisition and Development platform and strengthening its institutional presence in the Light Industrial and Hospitality segments. In 2025, the company successfully secured 25 projects in the Hanse Gewerbehöfe segment with a sales volume in the hundreds of millions. The current Pipeline includes over 100 sites in various stages of development.
With Dirk R. Sicken (MRICS), the company is gaining a proven transaction and investment expert with over 20 years of experience in the German real estate market. As Senior Manager, he will support nationwide acquisition activities, structured Due Diligence processes, and the further development of the project portfolio.
At the same time, Simon Federau, as Associate Director of Acquisition + Development, is strengthening the operational implementation of land acquisition and commercial Development.

Scaling strategy: 100+ Hanse Gewerbehöfe nationwide
“With Hanse Gewerbehöfe, we are developing a standardized, ESG-compliant Light Industrial product for German small and medium-sized enterprises that is designed for scalability and a nationwide rollout,” says Peters. The focus is on plots ranging from 8,500 to 20,000 square meters in established industrial and commercial business parks of A, B, and C cities. Key factors include good access to highways, connections to public transit, and proximity to central logistics hubs. “In the coming years, we plan to develop more than 100 locations,” adds Peters.
The Hospitality platform YORS Hotels continues to grow
“At the same time, we are systematically expanding our Hospitality platform, YORS Hotels, with the goal of building a Germany-wide Portfolio of several thousand rooms,” said Jakob Peters. In addition to new construction projects, the focus is particularly on conversion sites and inner-city locations.
Strengthening institutional capacity
Dirk R. Sicken most recently held a senior position at Haferkamp Real Estate, where he was responsible for the sales division and the Germany-wide investment division. Prior to that, he held management positions at companies including Aroundtown, VERIANOS, Corpus Sireo, and Deka Immobilien, focusing on transaction and investment management.
Before joining Peters Development, Simon Federau worked at Frasers Property Industrial, Deutsche Reihenhaus AG, and IDI Gazeley (Brookfield Logistics Properties), among others, and has extensive experience in business development, strategic acquisitions, and commercial Development.
