Our colleagues @Fynn Kratzmann and @Dirk R. Sicken, MBA, MRICS, were on site in Düsseldorf and sought to engage with local decision-makers, economic development agencies, and market participants. This was particularly exciting for our @Hanse Gewerbehöfe.
The requirements for spaces dedicated to skilled trades, Light Industrial use, and small-scale commercial operations differ significantly from those of traditional logistics or office properties. It became clear that these requirements are continuing to diversify. While large-scale uses still have their place, there is a parallel rise in demand for flexible, integrable solutions for skilled trades, urban production, and small-to-medium-sized businesses.
The Hanse Gewerbehöfe create space for skilled trades, urban production, and small-to-medium-sized enterprises—and thus jobs—exactly where they’re needed.
💡 This presents a growing opportunity for development—provided that a shared understanding is established early on regarding which solutions work locally and how projects can be integrated into existing structures.
